Cove Private Nannies operates a private nanny recruitment website in Australia. When you enquire or register interest, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, email address, telephone number, suburb or location, requested childcare arrangements, professional experience, work preferences and message. Our website may also process technical information necessary to deliver the site and protect forms from spam. Please do not include children's full names, medical information, identification numbers or referees' private details in an initial enquiry.
Why we use your information
We use enquiry and registration information to respond to messages, understand family care requirements, assess potential recruitment enquiries, discuss professional opportunities and administer our recruitment communications. Registering interest does not guarantee a job or placement. We do not share a nanny candidate's personal profile with a prospective family solely because the candidate submitted the initial registration form; we seek the candidate's consent before an introduction.
Storage, service providers and security
Website enquiry forms are processed using Netlify Forms. Authorised Cove personnel may access submissions through Netlify and, where configured, a login-protected administrator dashboard. Where enabled, email service providers may process notifications sent to our business inbox. These providers may store or process information outside Australia. We use an encrypted HTTPS connection for website traffic and limit access to recruitment information; however, no online system can promise absolute security. We do not ask applicants to upload identity documents through these public forms.
Access, correction and deletion requests
To ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or ask us to delete information, email hello@coveprivatenannies.com.au or use our website's Contact form, identifying your request as a privacy enquiry. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing information. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the relevant enquiry, recruitment activity and applicable legal obligations, then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
