Hello, I'm Kerrie.
I'm Kerrie, a career nanny, a mum of two and the person behind Cove. I created this little corner of the nanny world to make finding the right care feel more personal.

For me, it's always been about the little things.
I've spent more than 20 years caring for children, and some of the moments that stay with me are the simplest ones: a first smile at the door, a favourite story or the small routines that help a child feel safe and understood.
I've worked as a nanny and au pair both in Australia and overseas. Every family is different, but I've learned that the best care grows from a genuine connection, built through trust, kindness and consistency.
Now that I'm a mum of two, I see that relationship from the other side as well. I know that welcoming someone into your home means trusting them with the people who matter most. It's a decision that deserves time and thoughtful attention.
I've been on both sides of the door.
As a nanny, I learned how much thought goes into a family's everyday life: the little personalities, the familiar comforts, the changes in routine and the things that make a house feel like home.
My background includes professional nanny and childcare training at Charlton Brown Academy, in-home childcare work with Wesley Mission and child protection training. That practical experience continues to shape how I consider each family's needs.
As a parent, I understand why qualifications matter, but also why a feeling of ease and trust matters just as much. I want families to feel heard and nannies to feel valued for the important work they do.
Why I created Cove.
I wanted to build something that felt different from a traditional recruitment process. Something more thoughtful than sending through a list of names and hoping one feels right.
Cove brings together my years of experience and my understanding as a mum. I take time to learn about your family's rhythm, what matters to you and the sort of person who might become a wonderful part of your everyday life.
What Care with Intention means to me.
Care with Intention. For me, it's about looking beyond a résumé and remembering that real people, real children and real family lives sit behind every placement.
My aim is to approach your enquiry with warmth, honesty, discretion and care. Finding a nanny is a practical decision, but it should also feel like a personal one.
I'd love to hear your story, too.
